Why is a return not recommended? 

First of all this depends on the reason. Many influencers use products for their instagram page. After that they send it back to the seller. Which is disrespectful to the owner of the brand and to the environment. So all the way back just because someone made a picture.

That is not okay.

Second because we work with print on demand providers we are in between the process of buying and producing. Which means we only design the products. We are responsible for the website, service and the process. The provider produces the clothes when a person orders. So regardless of the environmental aspect there are people behind the process. Delivery guys who proceed the orders and those in the fabrics even if the provider offers good and fair working conditions there is an effort behind a clothing piece.

Last but not least the more returns we receive the higher the prices of the products. This is simply because the difference between product costs and end price needs to match the price we give back to the customer when a return is requested. Even if the customer pays the shipping when ordering & returning the product.

Again because we work with print on demand we can’t send the product back to the producer. Only the customer can send the product to us SJOYCE. We need to calculate based on the how many returns we get how much "gap" we can afford between producing price and end price. Which leads to higher selling prices.

Reasons for a return

We stand behind quality and we don’t want any unhappy customers. We have understanding for different reasons but we are also careful with people who mistreat the law of return.

„Size“, at least for us, is not an argument to request a return because we have detailed descriptions if the product doesn’t match the normal clothing size.

Another reason for a return can be damage bur we don’t know how the customer treats the product. Even if there is a 14 days return policy, we don’t know for sure what the customer did to the product.

Hopefully we could encourage you to think one more time before requesting a return.
